This will be Vespa’s fourth and final litter for us planned for March 2026.
Lonnie is a powerful and focused dog with an impressive testing record, earning a NAVHDA Natural Ability Prize I 107 and strong scores in the German system with a VJP of 67 and an HZP of 173. These accomplishments speak to his natural drive, high-level trainability, and performance in the field. He is a dynamic hunter with exceptional search patterns, a reliable and stylish point, and a confident retrieve. His performance on land is methodical yet energetic, making him an effective partner across a range of upland species. In the water, Lonnie is bold and tenacious, demonstrating an enthusiastic water entry and excellent nose work in aquatic environments.
Vespa, with her NAVHDA NA Prize II 108, brings balance, biddability, and consistency. Her work ethic is second to none. She is a true upland hunter’s dream, boldly moving through rugged terrain with unwavering confidence. She expertly quarters a field with sharp focus and intensity to locate and staunchly point upland game birds. Her temperament is a standout feature: she is sweet-natured, calm in the home, and eager to work in training or hunting scenarios. She transitions beautifully from the field to family life, and is gentle and intuitive with children and other dogs.
Both dogs possess excellent health and structure. They are well within the breed standard, with sound movement and strong, athletic builds. Their pedigrees include well-respected lines with proven performance and health history, ensuring genetic strength and consistency in their offspring.
This pairing is expected to produce pups with strong natural ability, water drive, and excellent cooperation, ideal for hunters who value a versatile, easy-to-train partner. Just as importantly, these pups will inherit the kind, intelligent temperament that makes the Small Munsterlander such a joy to live with.

Planned for early 2026, this will be Poet’s first litter with us.
Poet is a female we kept from our P litter, a homebred pairing between Four Point’s Fabio and Four Point’s Iris A Bloom. She’s an affectionate, cooperative, and loyal dog, making her a joy to train. Her natural ability to mark downed game is masterful; I’ve rarely, if ever, lost a bird while hunting over her.
She’s been hunted extensively on Sharp-tailed Grouse, Hungarian Partridge, Ring-necked Pheasants, Chukar Partridge, and a variety of waterfowl. In the field, Poet works with range and purpose, methodical, yet enthusiastic.
Like her sire Fabio, she has a strong level of human focus and connection, consistently making eye contact and seeking engagement.
Poet earned a Prize I with a maximum score of 112 on her NAVHDA Natural Ability test. Her pheasant track during the test left judges raving. Although she was scheduled to run her GDT this past summer, a leg injury just days before the test forced her to sit out. She’s expected to continue her testing journey in 2026.
Ribston comes from the respected Quorum’s Kennel in Sweden. He is a masculine, well-structured male we transported back from Sweden for Pam Robinson the same year we brought over Camilo Matice VD Chesannehof, Poet’s grandsire. Ribston is a closer-working dog displaying a deep understanding of his handler’s direction and strong desire to please. Primarily hunted on pheasant, he’s know for his refined pointing instinct and superb steadiness. At home, he’s calm, affectionate, and devoted, traits that carry over into his fieldwork through his high level of cooperation.
This pairing is expected to produce pups with strong hunting aptitude, on both land and water, alongside balanced, intelligent temperaments. These will be versatile dogs, suited for serious hunters seeking a reliable partner, as well as great family companions.

This will be Myla’s fourth and final litter by live cover for us.
Owned by Pam Robinson, Myla returned to us a few years after whelping our G litter, which was from this exact same pairing. Myla is a driven, birdy dog with a strong nose and an intense, stylish point. She’s playful and loves to work, and retrieving comes naturally to her. Whether it’s birds, balls, or gloves, she’ll happily retrieve for you all day long.
Her pedigree is among the best in North America. Her sire, Pixer Jixer VD Chesannehof, and dam, Grasidingens Yla, have both excelled in hunt tests and in the show ring. Myla herself is affectionate, calm, and cooperative, with a temperament that makes her easy to live and work with.
Camilo Matice VD Chesannehof is a male we imported from the Netherlands, bred by Jacobijn Joosten of Chesannehof Kennels. Both of Camilo’s parents have been very successful in conformation and hunt tests. He’s a hard-hunting, intelligent, and cooperative dog who wants to please. He earned a maximum score on his NAVHDA NA test, scored a 162 PIII on his UPT in summer 2019, and earned a 172 PII on his UT in summer 2020. Camilo has a very staunch point and, like Myla, has been a natural retriever on both land and water since he was a pup.
Milo is one of Tanner’s go-to dogs for guiding, and he’s proven himself in the field on pheasant, quail, Hungarian partridge, ruffed grouse, sharp-tailed grouse, and a variety of waterfowl.
We chose to repeat this breeding for Myla’s final litter for several reasons.
We kept a pup from the G litter, Four Point’s Good Luck Charm “Vespa”, and have been extremely pleased with her field and water work, temperament, and conformation. These qualities were consistent across all five pups in the G litter. This pairing has already produced beautiful, biddable puppies that excel in the field and make stable, loving companions at home, and we expect the same from this upcoming litter.

Planned for early 2025, this will be Vespa’s third litter by live cover and a repeat breeding with the Dutch import, Nico.
Vespa is a female we kept from our G litter, a pairing between our Dutch import, Camilo Matice VD Chesannehof, and the Swedish import, Grasidingens Myla Ylasdotter. She comes from a distinguished lineage of European champions, both in the field and in the show ring. Vespa is a striking brown and white female with a streamlined build and refined, feminine features.
She is affectionate, cooperative, and deeply loyal, making her both a pleasure to live with and to work with in the field. Vespa has a stylish, eye-catching point and is incredibly reliable at recovering game to hand. In 2021, she ran her NAVHDA Natural Ability Test, earning a score of 108, Prize II.
Nico, a Dutch import with exceptional bloodlines, is owned by Robingun Kennels and resides in Alberta with close friends who also own our Fabio. Nico is a compact, athletic, and masculine male with a strong natural retrieving instinct and a passion for water. He is a dedicated hunting dog with a staunch, classic point and a cooperative temperament. Nico has completed all three levels of the NAVHDA testing system, earning a Prize at each level, a testament to his versatility and training.
This is a repeat breeding of these two dogs, based on the outstanding results of our O litter. The puppies from that litter impressed us with their conformation, temperaments, and bird drive, developing beautifully both as field dogs and as loyal companions.
We expect this cross to once again produce gorgeous, versatile puppies that will excel in the field and thrive as stable, affectionate pets at home. We anticipate both roan and brown/white colouring in this litter.

Owned by Pam Robinson, Myla returned to us a few years after whelping our G litter, and we’ve been thrilled to have her back. She is a high-drive dog with a keen nose and an exceptionally intense point. Playful yet focused, Myla loves to work and has been a natural retriever from an early age, whether it’s birds, balls, or gloves, she’ll happily retrieve for you all day long.
Myla’s pedigree is one of the strongest you’ll find in North America. Her sire, Pixer Jixer VD Chesannehof, and her dam, Grasidingens Yla, have excelled both in hunt tests and in the show ring. In addition to her working ability, Myla is affectionate, calm, and cooperative, the kind of dog that’s a joy both in the field and at home.
Fabio is a male we retained from our F litter, selected for his excellent conformation and exceptional temperament. Even at five weeks old, he stood out, showing an unusual level of human focus and connection, consistently making eye contact and seeking engagement, while tuning out his littermates.
Fabio is highly biddable and loves to work. He’s a natural retriever, both on land and in water, with a beautiful, staunch point and a strong hunting drive. Structurally, he’s a striking male with a full cape and an athletic, streamlined build. His hips rank in the top 5% for tightness within the breed in North America, a testament to his strong physical foundation.
He has successfully completed his NAVHDA Natural Ability test with a score of 100 Prize III, and ran his Utility Preparatory Test (UPT) in the summer of 2022, earning a 169 Prize II, narrowly missing a Prize I due to a heeling error.
We’ve been extremely pleased with the puppies that both Fabio and Myla have produced over the past few years. Pups from this pairing are expected to have calm, cooperative temperaments, making them not only strong hunting partners but also wonderful family companions, great with children, and well-suited for life in the home.
We anticipate both roan and brown/white puppies from this litter.

Iris comes from an impressive lineage, boasting European Champions in both the field and show ring on her sire’s side, and Versatile Champions on her dam’s side. Both her sire and dam have received multiple breeder and litter awards, underscoring the strength of her pedigree.
She is a beautiful roan female with a streamlined build and delicate, feminine features. Iris is affectionate, cooperative, and loyal, with a calm, laid-back nature that’s been evident since she was young, a true “old soul.” However, don’t be fooled by her gentle demeanor; once in the field hunting upland game, she shifts into a higher gear. Iris is a close-working dog with a stunning, staunch point. She ran her NAVHDA Natural Ability test, earning a 110 Prize I.
Zandor was imported from Germany as a puppy, descending from what is considered an “elite” German breeding, meaning all dogs in his pedigree have met or exceeded the rigorous testing and conformation standards set in Germany. Zandor is a truly versatile hunter, skilled in upland game, waterfowl, furred animals, and blood tracking.
Together, Iris and Zandor are intelligent, intense hunters with excellent noses and the ability to pursue both feathered and furred quarry. At home, they are calm, loving pets. Four Point’s Basil Thyme (“Baz”), owned by Jim Waite, is a male from our B litter, out of Robingun’s Cindy Lou Who and the German import Zandor vom Fuchseck. His pedigree is packed with accomplished dogs: Versatile Champions on his dam’s side and elite-tested German breeding on his sire’s, meaning every dog in his lineage has met or exceeded both performance and conformation standards.

Elyta Wyatt VD Chesannehof, affectionately known as Eden, is a female we imported from the Netherlands in the spring of 2018. She is an eager to please, cooperative dog with a natural instinct for quartering and retrieving from a young age.
Eden’s first hunting season was spent in Saskatchewan, focusing on waterfowl. Her second season brought her to Idaho, where she hunted chukar, quail, pheasant, ruffed grouse, Hungarian partridge, and sharp-tailed grouse. Whether on land or in water, feathered or furred game, she excels. Eden is also affectionate, loves children, and is quick to make friends with anyone willing to pet her.
She earned a 101 Prize II on her NAVHDA Natural Ability test at just seven months old, and followed it up the next summer with a 132 Prize III on her UPT.
Camilo Matice VD Chesannehof, known as Milo, is a male we also imported from the Netherlands. He was bred by Jacobijn Joosten of Chesannehof Kennels, a name well known for excellence in both hunting performance and conformation.
Camilo is a strong, cooperative hunter with a sharp mind and an incredible work ethic. He’s the kind of dog who will hunt all day if you let him. Milo earned a maximum score on his NAVHDA NA test, and in the summer of 2019, earned a 162 Prize III on his UPT. His Utility Test (UT) was scheduled for summer 2020. He is a methodical hunter in both the field and thicker cover of the woods. His hunting style and range has developed naturally through a lot of wild bird exposure and days in the field. His range is dependent upon the terrain and quarry being hunted. He is a natural retriever who retrieved to hand as a puppy with only mild encouragement. During the 2019 hunting season, 257 wild birds were harvested over Tito, all which were retrieved to hand.
Tito earned a Prize I with a maximum score of 112 in his NAVHDA Natural Ability Test at 12 months of age. In his NAVHDA Utility Preparatory Test at age 2 he earned a Prize III with a score of 165. He earned a Prize I in his NAVHDA Utility Test in August 2020 and ran in the Invitational summer of 2021.
He is easy going, easy to train and eager to please with a sound temperament and a highly cooperative nature. He is owned by Hunter Kamm, who has put in a lot of time training and hunting Tito on both furred and feathered species, honing his natural talent and molding him into the remarkable hunting dog he is.

Elyta Wyatt VD Chesannehof is a female we imported from the Netherlands, spring of 2018. She is a willing and cooperative dog that loves to please. She naturally quarters in the field and has been a natural retriever at a young age. Her first hunting season was spent in Saskatchewan playing the waterfowl game. She spent her second hunting season in Idaho hunting chukar, quail, pheasant, ruffed grouse, Hungarian partridge, and sharp-tailed grouse. She is an exceptional hunting dog on feathered or fur, on land or in water. She is an affectionate dog, loves children and anyone who will pet her. Eden ran her NAVHDA Natural Ability test at seven months of age and earned herself a 101 PII. She ran her UPT the following summer and earned a 132 PIII.
Camilo Matice VD Chesannehof is a male we imported from The Netherlands and his breeder is Jacobijn Joosten of Chesannehof Kennels. Both of Camilo’s parents have done extremely well in their hunt tests and conformation shows. Camilo is a hard hunting and cooperative dog. He is eager to please, intelligent in his hunting and will hunt for you all day if you let him. Camilo earned a perfect score on his NAVHDA NA test and ran his UPT test summer of 2019 earning a 162 PIII and will run his UT summer 2020. He has a very staunch point and has been a natural retriever both on land and in the water from a very young age. Milo is one of Tanner’s go to dogs to guide with and has proven himself in the field on pheasant, quail, Hungarian partridge, ruffed grouse, sharp-tailed grouse, and various waterfowl.
We spent a lot of time looking at stud dogs to pair with Eden but in the end, we felt that Milo was the best match for her. These two should produce puppies that are stable and confident with the stamina and desire to hunt all day in the field and in the water. Eden and Milo are intelligent and intense hunters. Both dogs have exceptional pedigrees in addition to their natural hunting abilities. We can’t wait to see what these two produce for puppies.

Our goal as a breeder of Small Munsterlanders, thanks to the assistance of Tom McDonald and Pam Robinson, is to improve the quality of the Munsterlanders bred in North America. Tom McDonald is not only our mentor, but the first person in the United States to import the breed, as well as he is one of the founders of the Small Munsterlander Club of North America. We will only sell puppies from this exceptional litter to people who hunt and will agree to test their dog in one or more NAVHDA tests. We sell all our pups with a NAVHDA breed restriction and we will not remove the restriction unless a dog has been approved for breeding by the SMCNA.
